Jerry Brooks was a three-sport athlete (football, wrestling and track and field) at McCaskey, graduating in 1941. He was a PIAA football and swimming/diving official for 35 years. He officiated track and field meets for 57 years. He was inducted into the District Three Wrestling and Track and Field Halls of Fame and won the George Kirchner Memorial Award in 1980. He is also a member of the McCaskey Hall of Fame.
