Jack Neal coached McCaskey HS football for 23 years, the last 12 years as Head Coach. While he was Head Coach, the Red Tornado Football Teams won four Lancaster-Lebanon League Section One Championships. His teams qualified for three District III Play-offs, competing twice in the District III Quad A Finals at Hershey Stadium.

Over one span of games with Neal as head coach, McCaskey’s football teams had a record of 45-5-1, including two undefeated league seasons (’88 & ’90). The ‘88 football team (10-0, 11-1) has been inducted into the McCaskey Athletic Hall of Fame.

Later, Neal was an Assistant Football Coach at F&M College. During his stay, the Diplomats earned one Centennial Conference Co-Championship and played in four Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Bowl Games.

Graduating from McCaskey HS, Neal lettered in football and baseball, which included Central Penn League Baseball Championships in both 1966 & 1967.
