Aubrey Houseal will be a senior shooting guard for Donegal’s girls’ basketball team. She has been playing basketball since sixth grade and looks forward to an exciting season. The Donegal team has been working hard in the off season to further build their program.
Aubrey says Donegal girls have no key rival opponent — all games are important! However, she especially looks forward to playing Elizabethtown because she has many friends playing for them. There will be friendly competition!
In discussing her personal basketball goals, Aubrey wants to be a vocal leader and set a good example for younger players to follow. She also plans to focus on positive emotions during the play of the games.
Outside of basketball, Aubry is a dual-enrollment student. Besides Donegal classes, she is taking an English Composition class at HACC. And in her “spare time,” she works at a Mount Joy restaurant.
Aubrey plans to study Physical Therapy in college. She has been accepted into the Doctoral Program at Lebanon Valley College, though she is still considering other options.
