Lancaster County Sports Hall of Fame announced its 2025 award winners at a Hall of Fame night at the Lancaster Stormers, where Volunteer Award winner Ken Gerber threw a first pitch.

The Stormers posted banquet information and photos of award winners on the giant video board before the game. 

The Hall of Fame will recognize its 2025 honorees at its banquet Wednesday, Oct. 22, at the Eden Resort. Ticket information and more at lancastersportshalloffame.com/banquet.

Receiving the J. Freeland Chryst Sports Achievement Award and induction into the hall of fame are former Emma and Brooke DeBerdine (Penn Manor, field hockey), Jeff Glass (McCaskey, football, soccer, wrestling, track), Casey Kaufhold (Conestoga Valley, Olympic archery) and Barry Stumpf (Golden Gloves, boxing). 

George Derbyshire, retired Manheim Central athletic director, will be honored as the 2025 George W. Kirchner Award recipient.

Lucian Li will be honored as Inspirational Athlete of the Year. The 2025 LNP | LancasterOnline High School Senior Athletes of the Year — Manheim Township's Adam Kingston and Lebanon's Kailah Correa— will be recognized as well.

Gerber's and board member Denise Gobrecht's first pitch occurred between game of a Stormers doubleheader. The team split with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, dropping the first game 6-2 and winning the second game 10-2.
